Departures

                                                                         Gone!

                                                                    Flown away.

                                                               Across the oceans.

                                                            When will they return?

                                                         Taken from me so abruptly!

                                                Torn ruthlessly from my warm embrace.

                                                       Breaking my heart into pieces.

                                                            Does time repair grief?

                                                                 Bring them back.

                                                                    Safely home.

Elephant and Rabbit

Little baby Elephant tickled Rabbit's bum.

He tickled and he tickled till he made poor Rabbit run!

Rabbit bit at Elephant, but didn't have any teeth.

So Elephant's trunk had a nasty suck ..... much to his relief!

Elephant taunted Rabbit until he made him cry.

So Rabbit turned away from him, and farted in his eye!

Little baby Elephant was blinded for a min.

He thought of ways to retaliate, it really was a sin.

Rabbit saw Elephant thinking, and wondered what he'd do.

Elephant's tummy rumbled, he turned, and covered Rabbit with poo!

So don't you argue with Elephant and keep about your wits,

Or he'll be sure and cover you within a pile of shit!!

Life

Sometimes life is so unfair, but we get on with it. Not been on for a while as life has gotten in the way, but hopefully some new verses or thoughts will be appearing shortly.
